Civil Citation Network Partners with Michigan State University on a New NIMH Initiative!

Civil Citation Network has partnered with the National Center for Health and Justice Integration for Suicide Prevention (NCHATS), a new research center funded by the National Institute on Mental Health (NIMH) and led by Michigan State University, Henry Ford Health, and Brown University. NCHATS aims to find scalable ways to build information bridges between healthcare organizations and justice systems to identify individuals at risk for suicide and connect them to care. NCHATS also brings together a national network of criminal justice partners, behavioral health stakeholders, and researchers to improve the justice system’s capacity to respond to suicide in the United States. As an NCHATS Consortium Partner, Civil Citation Network will play a vital role in offering input on resources and messages as they are developed, sharing information and resources, and provide feedback on how to make the projects scalable and work in real life. Ms. Duncan will be attending the Detroit meeting April 17-18th. To learn more about NCHATS, click here. To become a Consortium Partner, contact [email protected].
